A 6 months’ reconstruction and a €10 million fundraising
6 months ago, Heetch had to suspend its ridesharing service following a French court decision. Shortly after, Heetch came back with a ride-hailing service and a carpooling offer, both only available at night. Six months later, Heetch handles more than 70,000 rides per week and works with 5,000 professional drivers.
The team’s resilience and intact ambition convinced Felix Capital to lead investment alongside its existing investor, Alven and Via ID to carry out a round of €10 million. This investment will be used to strengthen the team and accelerate Heetch’s expansion on the French and international markets.
The company wants to quickly open new cities, including London in a few months, and have 50% of their business coming from international markets by 2019.
